Anxiety Disorders
Characterized most commonly as diffuse, unpleasant, vague sense of apprehension, often accompanied by automatic symptoms such as headache,perspiration, palpitations, and tightness in the chest, stomach discomfort and restlessness etc. Anxiety disorder can be viewed as a family of related but distinct mental disorders, which include (1) panic (2) agoraphobia (3) specific phobia (4) social anxiety disorder or phobia (5) generalized anxiety disorder. Other anxiety disorder are substance induced anxiety disorder and mixed anxiety-depressive disorder.
